Armed Forces Day

it was the behaviour at the event.
--------------------
what behaviour exactly?

why the need for solemnity at what is a national event ie arm forces day? Its about celebrating the armed forces as opposed to the solemnity of remembrance which requires something different.

of course. as allways, members of the armed forces must remember who they represent and act accordingly but there's nothing wrong with young men letting their hair down at the football.

the only thing that needs discussing here is why rangers are critisied for this and what is the motivation behind it

Dos

If I remember correctly,"behaviour" issues were raised last year in relation to AF day at Ibrox.

I wonder why McStay feels the need to post a thread about this topic.
As McStay has done so,I would like to ask about the naming of GAA teams and grounds after Irish republicans,as McStay is a GAA fan.

You see,we can all nit pick.

Sectarian songs and uniformed troops pictured with a scarf saying 'keep Ulster Protestant'?

All fine with you guys?

Fair enough, just don't expect the rest of the population, or the AF brass to share your sectarian views

Why the Teddies keep deviating from the points made?

No DC, pretty sure I have told you before I don't. I pay tax though, plenty of it, for it to pay guys wages who hold up a scarf about keeping Ulster Protestant.

No need for name calling, are you losing it?

Adults can hold any scarf they wish, what has holding a scarf got to do with rangers, holding a scarf doesnt make you sectarian

McStay

Some bears sing dodgy uv songs, just as some bhoys sing dodgy ra songs,or wee sectarian hatefests when Celtic and Cliftonville played.

Are you searching for a soldier doing something wrong at Ibrox,by any chance.
Do keep an eye and ear out for ra fans too,in the interests of fairness,in and around Celtic games.

You failed to comment on the Irish republican names for GAA teams and grounds...........and you a GAA fan?

Are you only interested in having a pop at one side?

I think bears should drop the dodgy songs at games, but it is a bit rich reading your comments McStay, when all is not perfect on the green side of the fence.

bud iv got news for you, i was at ibrox yesterday, and i came away very happy, if a few of the lads did hold a scarf up, thats their prerogative , i dont have an issue with that, lots of funds were raised for a great cause, if a few photo calls were taken good and well. If obsessed tims want to troll the internet in order to get o'fended then im all for that it keeps them aff the steets.

Oh dear

No I don't watch, listen or read about the GAA. No interest really out with the big camogie player I pumped once in Coleraine. Thighs like oak.

It is about the Troops joining in with the tunes and proclaiming the we have to 'keep Ulster Protestant'
