Hitler didn't want to control the world, no, not personally. He was a proud German, and his intention was to re-establish Germany as the main force in Europe, to reclaim lost territories and to generally make the whole world a bit more German, exterminating inferior races as required.
Who funded Al Quaeda? Who pays them still? Don't tell me, is it myself, through my taxes? I KNEW that I was doing the morally correct thing in fiddling my income tax.
Anyway, you mentioned Hitler, so you lost the argument. Case now closed.
German or Austrian?
Who funded Hitler? Who funded the other side?
German, as I said. He was born in Austria of course, but his crusade was on behalf of the German race, as he saw it. As for funding, from memory I think it was mainly coffee mornings. Hitler's Germany didn't exactly pay out too much in the way of social benefits, and it had the added advantage of the widespread availability of slave labour with which to construct its war machine. Obviously, by the end of the war, virtually all of Germany's economy was dedicated to military production which was why the country ran out of food, medicine, etc. So whoever was funding Hitler was all mouth and not much trouser, or "doing a Fawaz" as it is now called.

How's the "global brand" and the "force in the premier league" going
Rothschilds funded Hitler and the Allies
Allies paid for the reconstruction of Germany. So not only do countries get in debt through wars (financed by the central banks) the victor always pays for the reconstruction (more debt to the central banks). Can you see how profitable war is now to those that fund it, provide the arms and provide the reconstruction?
There is money to be made in the armaments and construction businesses TEG, no doubt about it. But that doesn't necessarily mean that wars are instigated by builders and the like. I get paid for helping poorly people, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I go around tripping up old ladies or blowing smoke into people's lungs while they sleep.
But, now that I think about it.......

Do you? Do you really?
You wouldn't benefit from that though Vidal. You see mechanics, plumbers, electricians, etc do it. Why is inconceivable that people do this on a much larger global scale. Look at the likes of Halliburton, Blackwater, Lockheed, etc and who owns these and sits on their boards
Nope - sympathy not needed - maybe a little bit of Rams Envy from original poster and more than a nervous, shaky backward glance but sympathy, no we're fine
