I knew the idea of having a striker on the bench was too good to be true.
Well can't see that being a huge loss tbh

From Brendans press conference today, I think Henderson will keep his place and Lucas will be on the bench.
On Lucas, Brendan said he'd be in the squad
On Henderson, Brendan said that he'd been first class.
Given that Lucas was away with Brazil, and Henderson has been in training at Melwood, it'll be Henderson that gets the nod.
Which is absolutely fine by me.
Putting aside this ridiculous notion of racism. Is anyone else just finding the 'joke' really bizarre. Half time in a must win game, with a World Cup in brazil 45 mins away and Roy tells a joke. What a random team talk.

Yes, I did. reading through the transcript of "the joke", my first thought is what the hell are you blathering on about Roy,. Remembering the absolute drivel he used to come out with when managing Liverpool, puts it in context.
The man talks b'llox at times, especially it seems when under pressure.
Putting aside this ridiculous notion of racism. Is anyone else just finding the 'joke' really bizarre. Half time in a must win game, with a World Cup in brazil 45 mins away and Roy tells a joke. What a random team talk.
