Unless he can all of a sudden develop a good first touch and passing range, he will not fit in the cm role @united. Cleverley much better.
Fans are more than entitled to have a go about him in view of his poor performances, he is on man utds first team ffs, and that irrespective of the pricetag
I was at the game today and in second half there were groans and whinces every time he got the ball because of how many times he lost the ball in the previous 45 mins.
I think it's a wake up call for him and Moyes. This is Manchester United, not Everton. Only the best will do for our fans. That's the legacy Fergie has left.
I, like you, was all for Fellaini coming to United and I also still think he could become a very good player for us in time.
Not been impressed in the slightest so far though. He needs to realise where he is. It's a long way back if the fans are against you.
This is where a players character comes into being, for some the stage is too big, despite their talent.
I said before he signed I didn't want him, I said I would give him a chance, and so far he's yet to prove me wrong. Fact of the matter is, he's been below average.
what shocked and disappointed me today was his poor tackling. He seems a little overawed at the moment but he needs to come to terms with life at ot asap...
Has to be given time by fans too early to judge him
I remember when Pallister when he first came to Utd he was shocking to start with, Fellaini needs time to settle, the vibes from the fans wont help him.
Honestly, I don't think he is what you needed. Good player, just doesn't suit the rest of your players or your style for me.
Thing is though.......he's not coming into a side brimming with confidence either. He's coming into a team with very little confidence and which is struggling to win games.
It's a tougher job for him.
He earnt his plaudits playing off the striker but hard for you to play him there with Rooney at your club.
Adjust to life at Man utd? Didn't he move like 20 odd miles down the road?
Poor mans Yaya Toure.
Ironically cost more...

BTW Stretford "Only the best will do for our fans" reminds me of Ronaldo today. Scores a penalty then apologizes to Madrid fans for his poor performance.
Fellaini should be returning a % of ticket money paid by fans really.
The whole team is struggling at the moment, it's not just Fellaini, and it's always difficult to come into a team that isn't firing on all cylinders. Fans will need to be patient this season, as it's going to take a while for Moyes to get all these players to really gel - and that is not just Fellaini, but the likes of Kagawa, Nani etc who haven't had runs in the team recently.
Cost has very little to do with it. Fellaini has no control over that anyway.
He was only signed for 27m at about 10 mins to go in the window because we missed out on our main targets.
He was a panic buy. Otherwise he would been signed for 23m 6 weeks earlier.
There's no denying, he's been gash and was absolutely terrible today.
His attitude sucks. for most of the game he just wonders around like he doesnt care. fat streakers can run faster than him ffs

You've failed on that one mate, Fellaini and Yaya shouldn't even be mentiond in the same sentence.
Fellaini is not a midfielder. I didn't want him but he doesn't deserve to get booed.
The person who signed him has the greater guilt

Tell me I'm wrong?
I'd really like someone to tell confirm that he has been carrying an injury. He just strolls around like he is in a training session. Disgusting. At least Gibson ran his heart out, this guys just loses the ball and does nothing.
All comments from my red mates pre the derby were "we can use Fellaini to nulify the threat Yaya Toure poses". In hindsight we all know how that one tuned out.
Should have bought Ozil.
