Neiuther of these sides are close to us spurs or city
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool didn’t look too convincing against a poor Norwich side. You may have won, but they got behind your defence with ease. What you’re also forgetting is that Chelsea and Utd are better than Norwich, West Ham and Villa.

City are the only side this weekend that we’re faultless.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Defensively they did open us up which was alarming, but Norwich going forward were good. They will open a lot of sides up the way the play. However they will also conceed plenty because of their attacking style.

I don’t get the logic of grouping Spurs with City and Liverpool and I don’t know why people keep doing it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because they have the capability to do it.

Pulisic and Giroud for Abraham and Mount is the double change that needs to happen.

Abraham’s movement isn’t even close to Giroud, who does a great job at pulling defenders out of position for others.

Really don’t understand why Pulisic didn’t start
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stubborn Frank expecting his pal Mount’s form will translate from the championship to a premier league at old Trafford. Showing his managerial naivety already.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully pulisic comes on interested to see him

Liverpool are hard to beat. They will match city in the premier league, they just don’t have a squad to go deep in the other domestic competitions simply because Origi is the back up to the front 3 which is crazy

City now have two teams and will probably go all out in the 4 competitions

Cause its something different. In reality Spurs are Spurs of last season. People largely ignore they only finished a point ahead of Arsenal because of Pep's usual balls up in the CL.

He should that right before the game in thinking he doesnt need an experienced CB

Must be disappointing as a united fan to see your team outplayed at home by a make shift Chelsea team managed by Lampard in his first competitive game
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Literally half an hour ago you said its only the result that matters this early in the season. Make your mind up.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
These are completely different scenarios
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course they are. One suits your agenda, the other doesn't

If United win then its exactly the same. Albeit a tougher game.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
United are at home and are playing against a Chelsea team missing regulars such as Kante,

Ask me if we play like this at home or the way your shower played until eriksen was introduced yesterday. They are behind on ball possession in a home game where they haven’t launched enough counter attacks.

You are comparing that to an arsenal team that one it’s first away game after only winning one away game last season and only one in the previous calendar year

If you think those scenarios are the same God help you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You literally defended your teams performance earlier saying its all about the result. I'm merely pointing out that you knocking United whilst winning is similiar. You can put whatever differences in the scenarios you want, but ultimately it comes down to the same: winning when not playing well.

Anyway, I don't really give a shet

Capability to do what exactly? Is this not Poch’s 6th season in charge? I guess he at least got to a final last season.

Perform to a similar standard, which none of the rest can.

I don’t think they will, but they’re still worthy of consideration.

The thing of grouping Spurs with Liverpool and City is so ridiculous it does my head in. It’s probably a sky thing to pretend the league is competitive

Mourinho is a good pundit because he actually tells the truth/says how he actually feels, you actually get some insight. Much better than the nodding donkeys you get on BT.

posted on 11/8/19

Hopefully as a pundit he will cheer up a bit.

Miserable bastid as a manager

It’s being a bitter old goat that makes him a great pundit. I dislike the man immensely but he’s far more watchable (and insightful when he feels like it) than the rest of the gumf they have on there.
