City could do a treble again this season. You could argue they'd still be the best team in England if they do, even if Liverpool win the league unbeaten.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You might need to win the CL this season to put it beyond all doubt that you're the best.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Best team wins the league don’t they?
City won it last season, they were the best team in the league!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but if they win more trophies than you once again it throws a spanner in the works.

You could argue that.
Going to be tough to argue a team who drop points in 30% of the games they play are that good generally.
Think Madrid will dump them out of the CL, so league Cup and FA Cup double looks a likely target for City.
Worth bearing in mind, but for Leicester having a nightmare run of results of late they could be a distant 3rd best team in the prem to be fair.

This's a game where Guardiola could have given some youngsters some playing time, especially English players. Playing home against Fulham. Only Foden who should be playing regularly like Trent. Look at him the way he talks to his players he wants more goals more commitment. It's some how good but he needs to think about the future of the club as well. He's a winner but for a short time then once it's difficult he goes somewhere else. He could have easily played 5 or more 18/19 years old
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fulham are 3rd in the championship. Underestimate them at your own peril. Cant change the entire 11 for such a game especially when you are defending champions.
Dont city also have a midweek semi aswell.Im sure the english players will get lots of playing time in all the other competitions.
Besides Pep rotates more than most managers anyway

Even if Liverpool don't win the CL, which they still might because they are the team to fear this year, the PL title and Club World Cup is better than the FA and League Cup.

Its a thing people like to say when it comes to the champions league. History matters.I bet you if AC milan was in the competition they would be a better bet than City.
Teams like City, Spurs, Arsenal will always be looked down upon until they win it.
For example the best team by far in this seasons CL is PSG but nobody will bother mentioning them because of their high profile bottle jobs but in my opinion they are the team to fear.

Rotating one world class player with another one. Sterling with Silva, Mahrez and all those 50/60m players. I said youngsters who needs games. Klopp did it against a PL side, Everton and trusted them. Guardiola doesn't trust his youngsters

----------------------------------------------------------------------
All the Championship sides within reach of a playoff place have more or less thrown all their Cup games this season.
They're the best teams you could hope to draw at the moment.

City could do a treble again this season. You could argue they'd still be the best team in England if they do, even if Liverpool win the league unbeaten.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You could argue that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't know where this feeling that Madrid are favourites to dump them out of the league comes from. City are better than Madrid currently, or at least will be when Laporte comes back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny how good laporte has become since hes been injured.
Most fans couldn't pick him out of a line up, no caps for his country, 26, and supposedly the best left sided centre half in the world. 😂

He probably would know who Laporte was if he fell over him.

Rotating one world class player with another one. Sterling with Silva, Mahrez and all those 50/60m players. I said youngsters who needs games. Klopp did it against a PL side, Everton and trusted them. Guardiola doesn't trust his youngsters
