Part of Bale’s wages must be based on appearances.

There’s no way a manager will not use a quality player who is costing half a mill per week.

Bale when he plays for Madrid these days doesn't even try

he's a liability

gives the ball away constantly
poor passing
doesn't help out defensively

plus he seems to have lost pace

tbh, he only ever had one good season for madrid, early on

the media in this country seem to think he has done well because he's scored goals in finals

not realising the poverty he's been during most of the season leading up to the final

ZZ uses Bale in the best way, as an impact sub for the last 20 mins of matches (when he's near 100% fit)

otherwise he's not even worth a place on the bench anymore imo

Bale now basically is the La Liga Winston Boagarde.
