I don’t think anything too drastic needs to be done immediately. Postpone it for 30 days, like the NBA has done, and then reasses the situation then.
If they do eventually abandon the season then i agree some kind of agreement needs to be made regarding this season, the promoted teams in particular. But also the likes of Leicester would miss out on a lot of money.

This season is too far in just to cancel it. The 20/21 season should be the one in doubt.
Until we know how long it will cause games to be suspended they can't really make a call. But you could easily cut the number of games played in 20/21 by splitting leagues in half if you needed to.

BREAKING: Premier League and EFL look set to announce both will be suspended until at least Apr 4th, when situation will be reviewed. Hearing EFL board agreed on this unanimously. Premier League meeting happening in 10 mins when clubs will be urged to follow suit
