Anyone watching the MOTD lockdown? I feel some of those goals they’ve picked have been bettered by others. Wrighty makes this show though, pure comedy.
Simeone admitted a year on in 1999 that he cheated. Simeone theatrics were similar to what Ruud Van Nistelrooy did against Arsenal in September 2003.
Terry barely touched the Portugal keeper, it was a terrible terrible decision by the ref.

Terry didn’t foul the keeper ffs. And it was right at the end of the game, we’d have gone through. It was a shocking decision.
Englad were really crap in 2010 though to be honest. Only scoring 2 goals in the group stage when we had USA, Algeria and Slovenia in the group is unacceptable.

How the total hell is Kasami's goal not considered? The best goal ever scored in England

"Never touched him"...
The Beckham one would have obviously been a red if there was a VAR. But there wasn't VAR then so shouldn't have been a red

Go to around 1 minute 30 mark for the disallowed Sol Campbell goal. Unfortunately there's no replays shown though.

Watching the Beckham one back, and I know I'm a bit biased as a United fan, I'm not sure it would have been a red with VAR. The contact and intent was so negligible, I'm not convinced that comes under the remit of violent conduct. Had VAR looked at the incident, seen the action and seen the Simeone reaction, I doubt they'd have said it was a red.
Having said that, I don't support England and Beckham gad the best season of his life the year after, so it worked out okay, from my perspective

Yeboah's goal against Wimbledon was better than his one against Liverpool, for one imo
More on here than the match, oh the excitement of it all.
Nuremburg have some great names in their XI. Handwerker, Hack, Sorg, Nurenburger.
Boom, what a header for Furth. Hamburg 1 down.
Another headed goal and it is 1-1
What's the point in having Cologne on TV? Even radio. Bit of a waste. Can only really appreciate in real life

Mainz has a real livewire providing a lot of power up front, could cause a shock

You cannot rely on Mainz away from home. And a battery only lasts for so long
