How many more assists does Debruyne need to break Thierrys record?

One to draw, two to beat it. Should have already beaten it the last couple of games to be honest, which is partly why it’s an odd record anyway as it doesn’t really tell much of the real story

Not sure what you are on about.Its odd in the sense that the players who get the pre assist are not rewarded but the fact that Henrys has held it for so long is remarkable and shows what an amazing footballer he was.

That it’s pretty meaningless without knowing the quality of the assist, or that someone else could have been much better at creating chances but just had a worse playing partner not finishing them off.
It really doesn’t say that much to me without looking at the bigger picture. Henry and De Bruyne, it’s the quality of the passing in general. Wouldn’t matter to me how many assists that actually equates to.

What if it's 15 goals?
If Chelsea match somehow finishes earlier (injury etc) and they lose to Wolves and Utd are beating Leicester 1-0 with say 5 mins left...
wouldn't be surprised to see a very soft leicester equaliser and then a very boring draw played out
