It's got to the point that no defensive signing for City worries me really. The value for money there has been pretty poor imo.
Not Aouar's best game for Lyone.
Obvious his head is not in Lyon anymore...
Genuinely didn’t know Ruben Dias existed till this week.
He still capable of bringing some creativity and bringing the ball forward when he is fit.

He's not the tallest really, maybe he's got a great spring I dunno but having him next to Ake at any point and I reckon they'll struggle with set pieces.

I don't think this City squad is as strong as last years and certainly not as good as 2018.
Window isn't shut yet though.

Definitely not as good as 2018. Hard to say compared to last year. There’ll be more depth at the back, which helps midfield as Fernandinho can move back there.
Silva is still a loss even if he wasn’t at his best last year. Sane hardly played so can’t really point to his impact in the squad.
Why is the city defender wearing a helmet?
I’d say they will be encouraged that our defence so far as looked weaker than it was last year, I still think they can win the league without improving their defence considerably though.
