Fulham have scored more goals than Arsenal
problem for them is they've conceded the most goals in the league
Pep Rodgers will be getting his P45 this Christmas
Liverpool returning to the scene of the crime
so if Villa win now, they go above Leicester while still having a game in hand

They’re the only team to concede more than Liverpool.

It was more than just one signing, Samir. We got Pogba and Rashford back and Greenwood bulked up over lockdown.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Be that as it may, I still don't think you get top 4 without him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t think we would have without lockdown happening as we likely wouldn’t have seen those three players come back in to contribute.
It was far more than one player. And massively dependent on Leicester’s collapse.
Arsenal don’t have the same tools in the squad for one transfer to really bring it all together like we did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't disagree with this, nor am I saying we'd get top 4 with one excellent signing. But it'd be a huge confidence booster and would undoubtedly propel us up the league, even if it's not in the top 4.
Arsenal should have been taking James Rodriguez on a free transfer
Isco might be a shout - he wants to leave Madrid ASAP
Just realized Leicester were playing at home too

Arsenal vs Newcastle

A home game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That will be 2 games against them within a week of each other come January.
when is the 3rd round being played?

early January normally
If it was a player of Bruno’s quality maybe. But I cannot see that happening. His impact has been unprecedented for a January signing. I think he has the most goals and assists in the league since he joined.
Though I guess it depends if Arteta is sacked. But Arsenal’s squad is about the tenth best in the league now.
just checked
not bad for us.
in between a home game vs Villa and an away game vs Fulham
Shame Garner won’t get to play.
For Arsenal, FA Cup is between an away game vs West Brom and a home game vs Crystal Palace
so decent for you lot too
For Liverpool, its between an away game at Southampton, and a home game vs Burnley

theres a 10 day gap between these...so we might end up playing both the FA Cup game, and the extra PL game vs Burnley
We will have a very young side out with all our injuries

FA Cup isn't a priority, league and EL have to be the priority IMO.
FA Cup is always nice to win, but can't bank on it to salvage the season as we have done in recent years. And would be nice to win a different trophy
Will those games be moved if we progress in the league cup?
