I agree with this. We are only in this position because Liverpool and to an extent Chelsea have clearly underperformed.
Things will change from week to week but I think credit must go to Pep, he read this season well and from the start even as we drew to Utd and liverpool knew all we had to do was stay in touch.
His persistence with Gundagon has paid off and I have a feeling players like Fernandinho and Foden are being managed for the second half of the season.
The proof, as usual, will be in the champions league

City has a playing style which is made for winning trophies and the league. Counter attack footbal rarely win league titles for you with the exception of Leicester.
What is the most exciting title race currently? Probably Serious A
Leicester will go top if they beat Chelsea.
City would then go top if they beat Villa.
United would go back to the top if they beat Fulham.
A good week of football ahead.

I agree with this. We are only in this position because Liverpool and to an extent Chelsea have clearly underperformed.
