You can't underestimate the impact Pep has on City. Once they lose him, they'll go back to being inconsistent again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most definitely. There’s not a manager they can replace him with that will maintain the same levels.
Pep will be a very hard act to follow but I imagine the management already have a good idea who his replacement will be.

City are a great team with a great coach and play great football but winning titles like they have is so hollow. Any club in the land could succeed with the advantages they have. It's making a mockery of proper football clubs. City died in 2008. This isn't Manchester City. This is a whole new club and should be treated as such.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you judge your clubs existence just from 1991 then and also consider it hollow? Fair play if so.

Some of them, absolutely!
It will be a long time before we have a coach as good as pep again, if ever. Just got to enjoy it while we have him. I’m not really fussed about the trophies and whether they come or not, it’s the standard of football and movement that is just a joy to watch at times.
He’s the first coach where I’ve enjoyed the system and seeing what he does more than I do individual players.

Yeah it would
But they let's be honest, they wouldn't even touch a bargepole that had touched him.
