Nah.

I've watched him since he was a kid and his game intelligence is as good as it gets. He holds the ball well, takes players out of games, often needs doubling up on and the reason he gets tap ins is because he has insane movement. He can play lots of different positions too.

You think you'd get away with being very limited under Pep? Really?

Okay...as mentioned earlier anyone outside of city and Liverpool. I get it you are protective of him. But I’ve seen enough of him, probably over 100 games, to tell me he’s a limited player. Consistently one of the top for expected goals differential.

Personally I dont think Pep would have him in if he was as you describe and I dont think there are many passengers in 100 point teams.

Not it’s not, the last two seasons just from checking he was excepted more goals than he actually got. Although it is a flawed stat imo

Fair enough. We both mentioned his off the ball movement which is such a good option in a pep side. Similar to Pedro. But his other aspects I don’t rate mare. Agree to disagree on this one pal

Stones is a massive boost for England, gone from not being involved to being the best CB for the country presently and its not a debate
