done well defensively
in attack, think he has tried to impress a bit too much - gone for tough passes
but generally has been decent, not done anything particularly wrong

Not really been up against a team who will expose his flaws. Still been decent and I’d be tempted to think about him starting

Saka got a big future for England imo

There shouldn't be arguments. A team should have a consistent core. Not just random weirdos like England have.

I disagree completely. While it's important to know we have a strong 11, we also need to know that the back up can also break into the squad at any time with enough effort.
I don't want players comfortable. I want them knowing that if they don't play well they could be replaced by another player who is very Good.
Managers having selection problems in that respect is a good problem to have as he has choices he can make

this, dixon trying to make out he was at fault for that last attack, felt it was a very good run and brilliant pass myself he was also in line with our defensive line, if hes worried about the player and drops deeper and plays someone else onside dixon would be slamming him for that? Trent plays in a team that plays the offside trap hes not gonna be dopping deeper than his defensive line out of worry someone will get the run on him. times have changed dixon.
