FFS just scrolled through the channels trying to find the England game thought is was an 8pm ko.
Doesn't read like I missed much?
It will be a miracle if we get to the semis and I wouldn't be surprised if we failed to get out the group. Southgate hasn't got a scooby going into this tournament. Doesn't know his best squad of 23 nevermind his best starting XI.

Wirtz for example is quality.
And honestly I dont care if we havent got a standout player in our team. Football is a team game and the collective effort counts.
Have to say that I am impressed with Portugal. Same fine technical players in this team especially on their left side.
Our physis is remarkable. Brilliant tempo in this game.
Over played that a fair bit.
Portugal are good going forward. Getting in good positions.

I think he can be used if we're winning for sure. Also depending on formations how we're shaping up in the middle. You probably wouldn't throw him on if we're drawing/need a goal but if we're 1 up with 20 mins to go and need someone who can keep the ball and also has a decent long pass in him if the opposition are pushing up.
