German TV just reporting that Eriksen spoke to the teammates through face time and he begged them to continue.

cant stop the world whenever anything bad happens
That all uefa care about is their stupid tournament.
Guy nearly died should have been rescheduled for another day
Very uncomfortable viewing for me

But UEFA has the final say, and should have have ruled with their heart not their wallets.

The $ is mightier than well anything for them....
I know he did but still Not the right thing to do. Should have had a few days to gather their thoughts then play the game
I don't think it's selfishness. I think it's a lack of appreciation for the wellbeing of the players. It's a generalised issue with masculinity in sports. It's only recently that they've started taking concussion seriously, and it took research showing how many ex-players get alzheimers to do so.
The players want to play. They want to win it for Eriksen and get back on the horse. That's normal. These same players were weeping on the pitch and half of them still look like they're barely holding it together. They're not in a position to say "no, I'm in no fit state to play". In such situations, you need someone at a higher level to take responsibility, and their ire, and say this is inappropriate.
This game should not be played.
