Sancho is an example of why more Bristish players don't play abroad. Completely underrated by English fans and not really used by Southgate because he doesn't play in the Premier League.
Similar with Trippier who has just won La Liga, but most fans will moan about if he starts.

He should follow Sterling around to find out
Another question, why wouldnt you play the likes of Sancho, rashford, Bellingham the chance to force their way in?
The midfield and attack haven’t been good enough. I like Saka, and don’t begrudge him a chance, but Sancho and rashford numbers speak for themselves.
Phillips and rice aren’t winning us a tournament either.

Why all try to make an excuse for Harry Kane? If he is carrying an injury he shouldnt be at the Euro's. Simple.
Kane isn’t carrying an injury, or he’d be rested ina. Dead rubber. He is playing poorly in a side that does suit him and that’s all there is to it.
Foden left out due to suspension risk.
Interesting lineup. Would have preferred to see one of Henderson or Bellingham in midfield but glad Saka and Grealish start.

Thought it was a bit strange to not even have him on the bench especially with Mount missing. Can understand it though with the yellow card situation. Typical caution from Southgate.
If we are a mere 1 goal up by half time there won't be any subs.
