Indeed. Did little after they scored so early. Never really could change from the defensive set up into the attacking mood after Italy scored.

That was a huge chance for a win in a final, obvs got a chance moving forward with this youngish team but that must hurt to be fair ?

Hard to argue Italy were the only ones trying to win the game though. England didn't need to be that cautious, Chiellini and Bonucci can be got at with pace and England never even tested them really
