England lost the shootout. England's biggest regret should be to let this come to a shootout. Negative tactics and not able to change from defense to offensive attacking football was the reason England lost this game.

Rashford and Sancho have barely kicked a ball all tournament they shouldn’t have been brought on to take pens. The senior players bottled it. Where was Grealish? Shaw? Sterling?

Southgate done well but ultimately was too cautious when you needed him to trust your attackers.
