I wonder if the press will start to turn on Sterling now? All the talk of player of the tournament a few days ago. Which was obviously bollox. Terrible game today and rumours of him not holding his hand up when it really mattered. Sancho for Sterling seemed the simple change in extra time. Why did he keep him on if he didn't even take a pen in the end?

It was a combination of easy run and home draw. Southgate must bathe in four leaf clovers.
Sweden/Croatia and Denmark/Ukraine in the quarters/semis of two major tournaments on the bounce. You'll literally never see an easier pair of draws.

He almost didn’t blow it though. We had them in first half he got his tactics spot on. Mancini is a quality coach though and adjusted, and they have better midfielders than us, at least more technical.
Maybe he should have introduced others earlier, but greakish hasn’t really done much at all for all the clamouring for him. Perhaps someone like rashFord or sancho to stretch them, but Southgate got us to our first final in 55 years, he’s done better than anyone else. Harsh to blame him

It's the best we've ever seen in our lifetimes and you still get muggy cvnts online who've barely kicked a ball moaning whilst simultaneously not giving the opposition any credit what so ever.

Jadon Sancho, Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford being racially abused on social media. And this is why #ENG players will continue to take a knee. Also, Twitter and Instagram have to be quicker and stronger to stop these hate crimes on their platforms.
