Cannot imagine Potter going to City or Chelsea. I could actually see it more at Liverpool but if Gerrard does a semi-good job at Villa I think they'd choose him first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea I couldn't see but city or Liverpool definitely. City were rumoured to be interested in Rodgers at one point so I don't think they'll be looking for a big name and pep is a huge potter fan and I can imagine them asking for his opinion wheh the club has been built in his image. Liverpool too are so smartly run I don't think they would just hire Gerrard because he's Gerrard. They'll cut through the bullshiit, ignore what their reputation is and hire the best candidate

Fulham 2-2 Bristol City.

not them again ffs
Can't remember the last time I saw so little quality on a pitch as Newcastle v Watford
At least since United last played anyway
The reality is that Potter doesn't really get results at Brighton. At the top level you need to be ruthless and get 1-0s in big matches when you have one chance or such. Potter's team get lots of chances and lose.
Fabio Carvalho makes it 3-2 to Fulham. Goal crazy for them this week.
Someone else might actually win the Bundesliga if Bayern faced Mönchengladbach every week
Terrible miss by Williams! Should have been 6-3

Talk to a Newcastle fan and you'll realise just how bad it was under Mike Ashley.
One of their recent match-day squads had 5 players who also featured in a Championship game back in 2016.

You make a valid point about City, it's just hard to imagine a club like City having their pick of any of the top managers available and going for Potter. Not to suggest Potter shouldn't be seen as a potentially great manager, but it's extremely unlikely he will be winning anything at Brighton before he moves on. A European place and a good cup run is about the best he could hope for. Rodgers had been winning things at Celtic and was in a title race with Liverpool at least.
I feel it would be hard for Liverpool to ignore Gerrard if he does a good job at Villa. There will be a clamour from the fans for him. especially if Potter is the sort of manager they're looking at. Gerrard has early signs of looking a good manager anyway and would be as promising as Potter if he does well with Villa, so it's not like it wouldn't be the worst choice.
