We had the same a few weeks ago.

Odd rule but must admit I'm loving it.

Accidental for me.

If it was him that scored then yeah, would have been disallowed.

Arms out and away from his body, not tight in against his body. The touch on the arm helps him control it.

I’d be seething if that’s against us.

The rule is fvcked but it is the rule. Salah had the same the other week.

Punished for being wasteful here. Should be 5-1

It was accidental.

Man Utd gotta be asking where’s the defence? There were 3 boro players completely free.

I’m not arguing the rule I’m arguing the fact that it hitting his arm that’s away from his body and it enables him to control the ball and get the cross in.

"A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised"
Think his body movement was natural for what he was doing, and his arm being there was justifiable, making it accidental.
