bit unlucky for lower clubs in this round? pretty much every prem clubs gone full strangth cause theyve not had footy for weeks? where as lower leagues and weak ones like the scottish continued?

He'll be gone soon. Be interesting where he goes after Roma. If you're Newcastle though and you can spend big, it wouldn't be the worst thing to give him a go.

It really would. He’s way past it. Plenty of managers out there right now who would do no worse than mourinho for much less money and grief.

It really would. He’s way past it. Plenty of managers out there right now who would do no worse than mourinho for much less money and grief.

He's definitely way past his best but his best was a very high standard. Right now he's an ok manager. Would he be an upgrade on Howe with more money to spend? Yeah he might be, and Newcastle is on a lower rung on the ladder to Roma, so it could be a decent fit.

He was semi-successful at United though.

A lot is made of our squad and it’s strength but being able to have Pep managing the team for 5 years now means we literally have an unfair advantage on Teams like United.

We are not even playing great but winning the game 4-1. United huff and puff against similar or worse opposition but on most occasions won’t even win the football match.

Agreed. Mourinho did win 2 cups & came second in one of the seasons. Think Pep plus City’s investment in the squad skews what can truly be considered a good season for opposition managers.

In future we will look back at Klopps 1 Premier league title win with admiration.
