As should anyone who has at least a mild interest in football
-------------------------

Always forget klopp spent only £23.56 to assemble his squad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s £17.99 plus a Cadbury creme egg actually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was the cream egg for keita?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Steven caulker.

Not his biggest fan but i thought Keita was good today.

Great win, favourite moment of the cup run was Steffen’s fack up.

ikr, not every so often the quad is possible in the prem is it? Unless you're a direct rival or a complete bitter why wouldn't you? Especially when that team does it the right way as opposed to City who dont.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Your last sentence is an unnecessary dig. Not only that, it’s an incorrect dig and thus is a pointless one.

Bit surely even you, being bitter moments after your team has just won the FA Cup, can understand why people don’t want a club to win a quad? I mean, the answer is staring you right in the face - you even alluded to the reason why in your own comment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can see both sides.

Why people wouldn’t want it as it’s a first and why they also would.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pretty much that. When we were going for it, there was a part of me that didn’t want us to get it.

City already cemented as the best team in the PL era imo, if anyone is going to do it my money was on them under Pep. Can't believe we've gone closest. Think city will see out the prem and itll be deserved. Im proud of our lot of closing the gap and making it interesting.

Sorry for having to point out the obviouswasn't having a dig or being bitter, just stating the obvious to someone who doesnt really get why a football fan like Lineker would want to see the quad happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, you haven’t pointed out the obvious. You’ve made a nonsensical comment and deserved to be called out on it.

Linekar wanting the quad to happen is neither here nor there. It’s just one pundits opinion. Nothing more. If you want to run with his opinion, then fair enough. But it is no more than that. An opinion.

Just go away and enjoy your cup final success for what it actually is. A win and a trophy for your club. Not an excuse to double down and have a dig at an another club.

I think it was against Arsenal in the league Cup a couple of years ago.

And again, just go and enjoy your success.

You was the one who come on and made a comment that was a dig about City (“doing it the right way&rdquo. I never did that. You did. Why?

What did your comment have to do with what Linekar said?
