No wishy washy 'take it a game at a time' nonsense - many wise ones on this great forum of ours spoke with great sense a bloody YEAR after Mick was sacked.

I don't want hindsight, I want it now and in black and white.

Agree - would have loved him at Wolves after Mick was sacked, but there was no chance of him walking out on Norwich at the time.

It's a bit of a weird one really. See Wolves & Blackburn for example, both had decent managers sacked, and were subsequently fecked.

However, Adkins was sacked, and they proceeded to get the absolutely fantastic Pochettino in!

I still think it's far too early too tell, and they should stick with him.

Might be a good idea to put this to the Norwich fans on their board. By the way we're in League 1 Herbie.

I thought the sacking of Adkins must have had some motive that wasn't made public - seemed an insane decision at the time. However, it would appear that some clubs do actually know what they are doing.

Southampton weren't being reactionary, but visionary. No standing on ceremony or sentimentality - just utter ruthlessness in doing what they thought was right for the club.

League One?

Good grief.

So then Wolfie, do you sack him or not?

I would hold on til the end of this month, see what kind of reaction the humiliation gets.

The harsh world of football management, the players can let you down badly but get off Scott free pretty much, Jesus some still pine for our wasters.

Good manager, very decent man and if they do go down he'd be a good a bet as anyone to take them back up ..... but history shows that once the slide starts and the fans and players turn against you ................

So I wouldn't but he will be.

They’ll wait until Malky’s available.

Norwich fans already looking more towards the safety net of potentially worse sides saving them than better sides condemning them.

Funny how this has ebbed and flowed since July.

Remember the Narridge fans on 12 yards Herb ?

Right load of s@!*s they were so let's hope they follow us but worse

Yes

I am still waiting to strike again on their main site - have to be absolutely sure that they are doomed first.

They defected to not606 in a fit of pique, claiming that 12yards was a lunatic asylum.

The second part is possibly quite accurate.

if it were left to me........and I fully understand that it's not.....

I would give him till xmas and then sack him either way............but this would only be the start of my master plan !!!!!

you see, by the time KJ has elevated us to the dizzy heights of the chumpo or at least confirmed promotion, then I would also put a cap in his managerial a$$ !!!!

thus being able to employ the aforementioned CH fresh from his gardening duties !!!! of course, once he has guided us to certain promotion to the PL I would sack him again, just so I didn’t look like a hypocrite for sacking him in the first place

only then would I phone a certain Mr Ferguson

They had a board of 6 or 8 posters ........ then Rabid went on ..............

To be honest Herbie, this is a difficult one and I'm not sure we can use Wolves as an example.

Yes, they're in their 3rd season but Hughton didn't get them promoted. He signed a 3 year contract and that gives him until the ned of next season.

This is his second season with them and every now and again a weird result like this appears.

Right now I'd see how they do up until Xmas. Has the owner stormed into the dressing room yet?

A valid question Wolfie.

Has he offered to fight the fans yet?

At least he got them promoted which means he should in fact never be sacked........actually did he get them promoted?? If not then sack him, , no comebacks.
