RVP is our single most damaging loss under Wenger. And as has become usual, the fan anger is misdirected towards the player rather than the club management always more than willing to profit from their sale. His effusive celebrations yesterday was evidence he doesn't give a toss about us anymore. And rightly so.
Lex, you're not talking about his booking are you????
They both went for a 50/50 ball, both had eyes on the ball. Only difference is one was a goal keeper one wasn't
==========================================
Nah, you can't go flying into a group of players like that, goal keeper or not.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like De Gea did, taking out Vidic ? Surely De Gea should be retrospectively punished for it?
There was nothing in it. It's called challenging for the ball, and unfortunately Szez came out of it worse. If Jones had gone down like that, and Szez stayed up, there is no way in hell I'd have expected a booking because it's just a clash of heads...
Just don't have the same feelings for him.
Hardly surprising given all the crap he's come out with over leaving us.
Not the character I thought he was.
-----------------------------------------------
So you don't have the same feelings for him as Cesc, and you say you feel he's not the character you thought he was, .................but you've clearly stated you have no feelings for him?
If it was a late one for me, I'd imagine you've drunk right through?
Watch the replay, they both jump at exactly the same time, both look at the ball and then close their eyes before contact. Only difference is that Ches is able to punch the ball.
If ones wreckless, they both are as they do exactly the same thing. One has gloves on the other doesn't, that's the only difference
Not the character I thought he was.
--------------------------
He probably thinks the same about Arsenal fans.
If Chesney missed the ball (which he did), and punched Jones, would he have been carded?
Why was Jones allowed to have that much of a run up? Who was supposed to be picking him up?
If Chesney missed the ball (which he did), and punched Jones, would he have been carded?
-----------------------------------
Would he have been red carded? After all a punch in the face is a punch in the face
Not sure what's so hard to comprehend for you in that, Shinjisshin?
Crayon time?

Guess for some people talking about something that didn't happen is easier to deal with than discussing something that did...

Well there's a big difference between no feelings and feelings.
If you have feelings,........
.................. you can't have no feelings.
You can't have both. Hope this clears things up.
Ahh I see, Shinjisshin.
You're trying to be clever.
Good for you... good for you.
I didn't make that up.
It's a fact. It happened. I'm discussing it.
You can't win with you Gunners sometimes.
Oh waith a minute, maybe that should've said you can't lose with you Gunners

It's a hypothetical situation to gauge your opinion. I.E If Jones should have been sent off/booked for his challenge, would you have the same opinion if the boot were on the other foot.
What actually happened was a clash of heads and the only reason Jones was booked, was because he came out of it better, and didn't go to ground.
Anger, hate, pain and suffering can only lead to the dark side, control your feelings you must
Otherwise a Spurs fan will you become!
It wasn't a YC for Jones
It wasn't a Penalty for Stoke against Swansea
And Larsson should have been sent of.
3 mistakes in 4 matches on Sunday. 2 of which had a MAJOR impact in the respective games.
Laudrup was right. Why can everyone in the game admit their mistakes apart from Referees?
Didn't everyone agree Jones shouldn't have been booked for that challenge, but his game deserved a yellow overall, earlier in this thread? Hard to argue with that for me.

This. I'd also say - Chelsea's was never a penalty and there were another couple of poor decisions going around.

Pretty much this.
Jay - I didn't even bother going in to Saturdays matches too.
The mind boggles with how many mistakes are being made by refs at the moment (or maybe they just seem more prominent to me this season).
Every match (pretty much) has a major incident which the officials get wrong. It's simply not good enough. 'Human error' it seems, is a new term for 'incompetence'.
