Edbo, I've come back to say that Vertonghen is a class defender, you're best by a mile, and all these mugs saying he is a clown are just that themselves, clowns.

Saying that, Kos/Mert partnership is one of the best in Europe so I don't see why you wouldn't want them as your CB partnership.

Spurs are playing very cagey football, and Lloris is playing fantastically, which is why you aren't conceding many.
However, you can't score and so all of this doesn't matter.
1)If you don't concede you can't lose.
2)If you don't score, you can't win.

Spurs seems to be going down the first route and that won't get you top 4. It will get you a lot of 0-0 and 1-1 draws.

You aren't conceding goals because you have about 7 defensive players in your starting line up and pass the ball around with no intent. Batmanu has a point. Clean sheet alone won't get you into the CL which I think it is AVB target. I'm sure Levy didn't let spent £100M without the promise that he will get you guys in the top 4.
