Harts finished, his bottles gone.

Forster should have a go, he will do a good job.

Hart looks like russ abbot. Now he's playing like him as well

But unlike Russ - he's not too good during a big atmosphere...

Gordon Banks?

Hope he doesn't do an Alan Thompson

Finally gets a chance and fails to impress on his debut.

If Forster gets the number one jersey for the World Cup he'll be going next summer for £15M.

Big lurch is a terrific keeper, once playing in the EPL he can make England no 1 no problem. But it wont happen till he is.

England struggle in big tournaments as not enough if their players play in other leagues.

Forster does that

Sadly you're probably right Dos. I reckon he's amongst THE very best keepers in the world right now and will probably improve.

Seems saves up here don't matter

I wish the big felle well when he leaves at the end of the season or possibly January

I reckon he's a shoe-in for Everton FC.

OK, so it's perhaps not the Champions League club he'd envisage- but they are playing at a very good level and will most likely need a younger goalkeeper soon, the displays of Jagielka and Baines have certainly proven that it is sufficient to play for England and you would have to think this would be more so for a goalkeeper.

what price would you reckon? surely we're talking 10-12m

posted on 14/11/13

probably pol, how long on his current deal? keepers probably the one position where it really doesn't matter how big an epl side you play for, the fact is he'll still be facing top quality players every week.

he's good enough to play in any epl side tbh, just depends whose in the market for a keeper, personally I'd like to see him at spurs.

Spurs would be good dos. French goalies....merde!

posted on 14/11/13

i'm quite sure he's still got 2 1/2 years yet dos

2016.

No chance Spurs, Lloris is best in the league.

The best club he can get Number 1 is Everton.

posted on 14/11/13

Marce why not number 1 at Arsenal or even City?

posted on 14/11/13

Arsenal's goalkeeper is young and settled so they would not replace him.

Manchester City have so much money that they'd go for a more widely established goalkeeper.

posted on 14/11/13

but why not the guy being more and more widely seen as Englands long term number 1. His value is only going to keep rising from where i see it

posted on 14/11/13

Lloris is best in the league
--------------
don't know if he'll stay at spurs, was linked to to back to france in the summer, think spurs still have a hefty appearance triggered payment still to make on him as well.

Lloris is a top keeper, but the point is playing in a settled role at a club like spurs or Everton would cement lurch the England shirt

forster could play at any EPL side just depends who needs a keeper

Dos nice to hear an honest assessment from a bear about one of our players without any snide stuff.

Best Celtic keeper I've witnessed in the flesh and even my da reckons he's better than Ronnie Simpson
