not sure on Zaha tbh, looks to have all the talent, but he slows the play down too much, he's got the ability and pace to get it out feet quickly, but he tries so many tricks, which look great when they come off, but too many times he ends up losing the ball or falling over his own feet, you see the footballing brain that Morrison has compared to Zaha and he;s lightyears ahead

Zaha is still young though and has plenty of time to sort his head out on the pitch. Agree that Morrison is already an old head of young shoulders footballing wise but you'd hope that Zaha is learning from players like Giggs and Rio in training about how to approach the game.

Not too sure if it's because they've been pretty much awful since 2006 or an Irish curse from 4 years ago, but if they fail to make it then it's just desserts.

I'm expecting some clear bias from on Tuesday by order of platini. If France don't make it he'll throw England out on some FFP technicality

Dont worry morrison will be back at united within 2 seasons, just meant to be! Let him develop more at west ham and then he'll resign

Even worse than when Gary Caldwell scored against France when Scotland won 1-0? Surely not

I don't really care if France don't make it. But then I don't really care if Ukraine do make it. So from my point of view it's a shame that those two had to meet.

I want the Zlatan to make it

But I don't think it will happen

Nah, definitely need Ronaldo there. Zlatan Shmlatan.

Ronaldo will be there anyway, he has to flog his designer pants Bale loves so much

There is a real imbalance in the way the play-offs work though. You've got some pretty closely matched teams playing each other in Europe, whereas in other parts of the world you get results (after one leg) like Jordan 0-5 Uruguay, and Mexico 5-1 New Zealand (although that one surprised me a little).

There is an imbalance in the way qualifying is too, as far as I'm concerned- I'm still not sure FIFA should actually put quotas on how many teams from a continent can make it there.

I suppose the only other option is World-wide qualifying groups, but that would obviously have some justifiable resistance from club football.

The other other option is a bigger World Cup, which looks like a real possibility.

That would be possible without diluting the quality so much, I mean there are reasonable teams that will be missing out.
