Townsend is a left winger
I thought Lamela did okay against City.
Completely off topic, but how did the giving up smoking go mate?

I'm nearly 2 months smoke free and loving it! Best thing I ever done.
I read Allen Carrs (not the comedian) book on it and coming from a smoker who has tried everything to quit in the past but failed I totally recommend this book if you are serious about quitting.
It changes your mindset and philosphy on smoking, he is a very clever guy.
I can go out down the pub with my mates and enjoy it rather than clucking and thinking about having a cig, its amazing i'm finally free of that nasty weed and feel so much better for it.
Siggs do you notice the smell now when you're around other smokers?
Smoking is a terrible habit, it's a complete enigma to me.
Never smoked, unless it's herbal stuff
Don't understand the need for it? weak people can't quit
Yes Thudd it's horrendous! My missus smokes but tbf she has cut right down, but it does stink!
I just don't know why I didn't do it sooner. For the first time the other day I enjoyed my 5 a side and had a good game. My mate has asked me to train and play for his Sunday team so looking forward to get for for that.
I've been going for runs, cycling etc the energy I have from not smoking is amazing.
Siggs
I hardly drink at the moment also, I used to go out every weekend, binge, but since I stopped and eating healthy it's easier with playing football
Few lads in the team smoke and play, they struggle in the last 20,
Keep it up mate, and get the missus to stop
It's a terrible addiction.
Stopped Smoking for 18 months now
I read it as well, amazing how it works, went 6 months without a single craving. Then a couple of one-offs in the pub and I slipped right in again
Siggs I've never understood it mate, did you go cold turkey?
Thudd I'm getting the same, I'm so on getting fit I have stopped binging so much at the weekend to the point I don't go out if it is not a special occasion, this may change over time though.
Next thing is food, I'm terrible with eating junk!

I'm nearly 2 months smoke free and loving it! Best thing I ever done.
I smoked for 45 years, packed up over six years back now, but I have to say whilst I do not crave a ciggy like before, and no way will be tempted to have a ciggy, I still quite like the smell of ciggy smoke, and am not one of those ex smokers who poo poo anything to do with somebody choosing to light up.
Smoking is a bad habit, but drinking is just as bad and that is seen by most as a badge of honour to see how many they can put down their gullet. Seems a bit hypocrytical of most to moan about smokers when large amounts of alcohol are doing major damage to the liver. Alcohol is far more dangerous in many ways, how many smokers do you see light up and then end up hitting somebody in the face with a bottle, like a lot of drinkers do when they have had one to many. You don`t usually find having a ciggy leads to violence like having a drink does.
Yeah wet cold turkey Thudd
Well done Nac that's amazing!
Ah yiddo80 Read the book again and get back on it, you can do it

Same, I'm always tempted by fish and chips/nandos/curry/chinese
First month I went dry on drinking I managed to save £200
So I haven't drunk for 3 months now, and I'm saving up for USA road trip, New York to Vegas
Well done sandy that's amazing effort and totally agree about drinking. Just as bad but not seen as bad and not pushed out of society!
I'm saving for a mortgage
