mind the gap...

Have you waited 3 years to type this?

You'd think having waited so long you would at least be able to come up with something original. We coined the 'Mind the Gap' phrase on here for the past few seasons. Finally Villa decide to turn up after years in the wilderness and this is really the best you can do?

3/10.

You've been patiently waiting years to say that....

Sorry teix. Great minds.......

Tbh, I don't mind villa beating saints.

For one thing it will stop the media love-in with Southampton.

posted on 4/12/13

Yep. A Southampton meltdown is overdue and if even villa can beat them, then it's on the cards.

What's your excuses now baggies? Villa had easier fixtures, villa one man team, villa results lucky , blah blah blah.

Ur win at a poor Utd glossed over a poor start.

Long hard winter for the baggies ⛄

Villa fans have such short memories, one win and they're lords of all

You have to laugh. Villa fans over the moon cos they have finally got themselves just above 'little old' West brom.
Is that an indication of how far we have come or how far villa have fallen?

14 games in...

We coined the 'Mind the Gap'

Genius baggies

You can tell how rattled Villa have been about our presence. They celebrate being above us, just like they celebrate drawing at The Hawthorns. The dizzy heights of 10th place has brought a sudden wave of Villa fans on the Albion board.

All from a club that allegedly don't care about us.

We don't care about you bookmark....

Just seen highlights of your game against City, the stadium emptied rapidly when you went three down

You need to win those home games coming up

And for the fans to stay till the end

It's just nice to tell some of you Albion fans who had got a bit above your station we told you so. Plus it keeps you off our board.

It's like squashing a fly. It's never really going to hurt you, it's just the constant drone.

Long hard winter for the baggies.

The fact your here shows you care though, no?

Poor Aston Villa. Once European Champions, now just happy being above the Albion.

Come back when you FINISH above us sh1tforbrains!

If cddvilla says the season has finished, then who am I to question it...

Amazed at how three little words can provoke so much!
For the record, 'mind the gap' has been used on the London underground for a little while I think.
Not that a baggie would have known that considering the horse and cart is still king is west Brom.

posted on 6/12/13

Confused. Is it that being a baggie means you don't know there's a London underground or that horses and carts don't have gaps?

posted on 6/12/13

Some of the baggies are so touchy. Perhaps they shouldn't dish it out if they can't take it.

Long hard winter ahead for the Baggies.

posted on 6/12/13

Dearie me.We coined "mind the gap" in the context of the respective positions in the league table not the London Underground We can dish it out and take it but it's funny how conspicuous by your absence you lot have been and no doubt will be again

Totally agree BB. They were very quiet after getting away with murder v Sunderland.
Strange how Lambert suddenly knows what he's doing after months of, apparently, not having a clue.

Fickle bunch, our cousins down the road.

Just saw the stats for the Saints-Villa game. 78% to 22% possession. Is this for real? I don't think I've ever seen that ever in a PL game.

Fair play to Villa they obviously took the points but if finishing above you meant I would have to put up with that extent of hoofball and smash and grab tactics, I think I will pass. It's a measure of how desperate Villa must be that they are prepared to watch that every week.

Less than 9000 at a home game this season.

That's fickle.

Long hard winter for the baggies

posted on 6/12/13

That doesn't make sense. How can attendances be fickle?

Anyway the World Cup Draw is on so pipe down.
