For me mata needs to start he seems to have an effect on hazard if like to see shurrle in this one as well
---------------------------------------------------------
I am not sure if there is any conclusive evidence of this, if anything ist the fact that Azi makes good runs down the flanks that allows Hazard some space...
however, Mata deserves a run of games, he is not at his best yet which is undertandable, his passing was not quite coming off agst Sunderland, but with a few more games under his belt I think he will hit some form
Can't help but feel sorry for Schurrle. He gets some games and scores for us,scores 3 for Germany, gets a slight injury and can't get back in the side.
Yes the Schurrle one is a bit strange, I am yet to be that impressed with Willian, but Jose weem to like him a lot
Cech
Ivan Terry Luiz Azpi
Ramires Lampard
Schurlle Mata Hazard
Torres
would be my preferred line up today
Wouldn't mind Ba or Eto'o starting, as long as Torres doesn't.
Is Bertrand injured? If he isn't then it looks bleak for him at Chelsea?
Wouldn't mind Ba or Eto'o starting, as long as Torres doesn't.
i dont understand this mentality though
he has been our best striker this season and certainly the most dangerous
If we are going to go 4-2-3-1 I think I would go:
Cech
Ivan Luiz Terry Azpi
Ramires Mikel
Schurlle Mata Hazard
Ba
Get Schurrle down the flanks and getting crosses in for Ba. Lampard surely needs a rest.
Luiz is out, injured.
----------------------------------
Still injured ?
Torres hasn't been great this season. He was great against City and Schalke, but other than that has been crap all season.
Torres seemed to be in decent form a few weeks ago but as normally happens with Torres it doesn't last very long and he goes back to being bang average.
The fact that Torres has only scored 2 PL goals in the whole of 2013 is one of the big reasons he doesn't get into my starting line up today.

based on what Toby...?
Superb, he's been good for his standards. But compared to what Aguero, Negredo, Suarez, Sturridge, RVP, Rooney and even Giroud have been doing for our rivals, he still falls embarrassingly short.
It still annoys me how much off an over-reaction any semi decent display gets aswell, he cost us 2 points against Tottenham yet was getting hailed like the re-birth of Maradona.
Its probably a fair comment about torres but i think any striker would struggle
i dont think it matters who goes up top
like i said in my post i think its a game tailored for ba

He has got to go, that is just completely unacceptable of a player we spent £50million on.
Is anyone out there seriously going to defend him If I say we could have had Heskey in there for us upfront and I think he would have scored more

So if Falcao/Martinez or Lewandowski signed for us in January, would they be on a mere 2 PL goals by the same time in 2015?
I think that's an emphatic no.
Another thing to add, he has 5 PL away goals for us in nearly 3 years
Suarez has more away goals against Norwich alone
Ronny we could have stuck Cahill up front and he probably would have scored more PL goals this year than Torres.
But anyway I'm past the Torres-bashing. I just don't want him to start today is all.
Exactly KR
Torres is simply undefendable.
It's pretty damn straight forward, you're a striker your main goal is to score, link up play and the rest comes second and 2 goals in 2013 is an absolute disgrace for a player we paid £50million for.
It's a huge embarrassment

Fack me that's embarassing.
The less we publicise these stats the better I say
It does my head in every time he has a semi decent game or does a little bit of movement, he has "proved the doubters wrong". ummm no he hasn't.
The biggest myth about him is he works hard for us, he does sometimes, but he has his lazy games and boy when he does he puts Malouda in the shade.

I won't miss him, I will miss the laughing at him though
Ronny, believe me some still try there hardest. The sheer amount of excuses made up for this guy are hilarious.
