Leicester have a tough 3 games coming up. For once Derby don't look like an injury crisis would derail them. That for me is the difference between Clough and McClaren. Schteve has been given the opportunity to bring in good loan players to back up the good 11/12 you already had. Did Nige not want loan players or did the owners not trust him?
As for Forest, we still have the potential to go on a similar run. There is plenty of time left and we have tje players without a doubt. Let's see where we both are in the new year.
Let's be right here. Today the muttons were playing a depleted Blackpool team. The first goal was a dodgy penalty followed by two goals that were literally gifted to them. They then managed to con the ref into giving them another penalty and getting the player sent off.
Bleddy hell Calverton Ladies FC could have won Blackpool today as things stood.
Anyroad it will not last, what will they do when all the loan signings clear off and Stevie boy talks talking like a sheep? Baaaaad daaaaay todaaaaaay for Blaaaaaaackpool.
Redrebel I've asked your fellow reds. Remind me how you got on against Blackpool? Look at who we've played in the last five games, then look at who you've played in the last five games. We're on fire, trust me I know, I go to most home and away games now.

Really Wassa..well. if the tripe I watched today is owt to go by I must say I admire your devotion to duty
If we look at the games to the new year then we have Charlton, Doncaster, Barnsley and Huddersfield. So if all went with form then 3 wins and a draw at Huddersfield is quite possible.
This would mean that no team could overtake us and that were QPR and Burnley to only get 7 out of 12 points and Leicester 8 out of twelve then all four teams would have the same points.
Leicester are a bit iffy at times at the moment so they would be less likely to get 8 points and Burnley may be about to crash. They won today but it was a scraped win against Barnsley.
Now we have superior goal difference to QPR who seem to have a disproportionate number of 1 0 wins. So were QPR to get only 7 points from the next 4 games then we would indeed be top of the table.
Having said that I don't think we will be.
redrebel just check who you've played. And who we have played
