Spurs are MILES behind the top sides' wages.
-------------------------------------
The irony being that they spend the most per trophy out of the top 8.
You gave Adebayor a massive fee so that you didn't have to show it on wages.
As for your comment, you may
have thought I was one of the
more 'sane' posters, but you
have changed that opinion
because you came on here one
too many times and I made you
look a bit stupid.

You mean like the grammar lessons where you got schooled by your fellow fan and was still too insufferably stupid to take the correction? You can join the elite intellectual company of the RGK's, RC's and Sandys who have made me look stupid by their reckoning. Enjoy the deluded bubble.
How much was this massive fee may I ask? Not really ironic though is it! More to do with reducing long term costs and getting them a bit cheaper in the long run!

RGK is known as a legend on the Arsenal board, that's quite sad really.
Sorry TOOR but can you give me a link to a story about us paying a load of money for Ade

It's undeniable that since the days of wasting money on the Bentleys and Pavlyuchenkos, Spurs have been very prudent in their spending. They have one of the lowest net spends and maintain a low wage bill. They've punched slightly above their weight for a few years now but until the get consistent CL footy or get a new stadium or get their own sugar daddy, they won't match City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool financially.

We paid 4m for his services and a 5m transfer fee on top which is not bad for a player who contributed greatly to our team in his first season
You have a worldwide franchise you fool! What have London prices got to do with anything it is all about the amount fans are willing to pay
What have London prices got to do with anything
-------------------
You're able to charge massive ticket prices for awful dull football. That would not be accepted in the NW.
Any actual intelligent answers would be welcome
It is. the three top most expensive match day prices and season tickets are all London clubs. That's what London has to do with it. High prices for awful football. You wouldn't get away with that in the NW.
Have to say Scribe is an excellent poster, you're always level headed and offer valid points in a polite way, fair play to ya lad
Good God. Your most expensive season ticket is £1000 more than ours!

What's wrong with the answer?
The big 3 London clubs charge more per seat than any other in the country. More income per seat, more income. Not the hardest maths in the world!
Admittedly the quality of football has nothing to do with it. The general affluence of the south east means London clubs are at a natural advantage.
Article is spot on but Spurs being the undisputed also rans people shouldn't be surprised. They have had a decent squad in recent years yet have won noubt - IMO they are are going backwards now Bale has moved on they are a decent side who I expect to beat us on Sunday but it will still be a trophy less season for the also ran champs

If people are going to start using wages then we may as well include match day pies

Lets do a comparison on money spent and not include one of the biggest costs

Your record would still be awful.
