I'm always able to give Giroud credit where it's due I have many a time but it's rarely due when it matters most. If we're to win the title it's these 6 pointers we need to benefit from that's where he has to make the step up he's had over a year to settle now

Don't really understand the comments on here. We have been winning nearly every week since the season started off and people have said every time that we need a new striker. Obviously there are the odd fickle reactionary people on here like 50P who will make knee jerk comments after a defeat but I know most of the people on here who want a new striker have been saying it for a very long time. I think what is worse is the people on here who insult others simply for stating he has had a poor performance.

As for the likes of Jack and Ozil not getting singled out, well it is very simple. Jack is a kid and has plenty of time to improve, Ozil is a new signing and has plenty of time to improve. Giroud is in his prime and shows no sign of improving.

Chris to be honest I have no problem if someone dont notice or like OG's approach. If you like the tippy tappy kind of player its okay. In the last few years we had RVP and that leads nothing also to nothing and we had really bad games. Why OG is a scapegoat when we just concede 6 and managed to score 3 is a riddle to me as shiiiit as he was today.

Haven't read every single comment on this thread but I don't recall anybody mugging him off. Guy gives 110%, it would be a happy ending if he gets the reward for the hard work he puts in but I think we all know that isn't going to happen.

Just back from the game, atrocious performance from Giroud after we were encouraging him all day. He really was the difference, he could have had 3. So disappointed as I thought he had finally become the player we needed. Where's has confidence gone

I don't know why the want for a new striker means you have to criticise Giroud. It's obvious that Wenger wants a new striker. He tried to sign Suarez for about a month and Ba too. Let's not forget Higuain. If one's available in January I'm pretty confident we'll get them.
