Calling Look Like Modric

If Sherwood becomes our permanent manager then I will find it hard to renew my ST for next season.

I am not against AVB being sacked, but, IMO this is Levy's most important decision yet. He needs to live or die (not literally!) by his own decisions now. Sherwood taking over full time would be unacceptable. The worst decision that could be made out of all the possibilities.

We have become a bad Daniel levy joke. Sherwood is another terrible punch line.

Wasn't Sherwood responsible for getting the U-21's kicked out of the Next Gen last season? Looks like he will fit right in

Calling easy as 123

No we are in discussions with one man and one man only. It is not capello, hiddink, laudraup, etc. The media have the name but have not linked it strongly.

Sherwood, ramsey and ferdy are the backup plan with freund switching to the u21s.

At this moment in time I can only see a stop gap as I believe we will get our first target (touch wood).

Besides sherwood is baldinis level, why step downwards he has shown no interest in management in the past and rejected an interview after harry left.

Dont let the media blind you with there rubbish, they know nothing.

One more thing sherwood is not levys man, sherwood owes his rise to cullen who is levys deputy. Ramsey is probably the most powerful at the club and has levys ear because of his connections in the game. Highly highly respected.

hey guys, I am another who doesn't understand the Sherwood hate, I actually saw the guy at a coaching conference a few years ago now and he came across quite well, good talker and seems to know his onions. As for people saying he was a average player, I don't agree, not that makes much difference anyway. Im prepared to give him a chance, theres not much out there atm, someone will get lucky with this job as we have a very very talented squad. Also I expect to see a lot of Eriksen the next few weeks as I remember Sherwood talking him up big time.

No that was another employee who was sacked for the error. An error which broke no real rules by the way however we sportingly stepped aside to allow you to go through and embarrass the youth of the nation. What did you lose by 9-0 or something? No real big team ever loses by a big scoreline

come on llm we need a clue lol, defo not hoddle then? im thinking de boer for some reason

Levy 9 managers in 12 years. Hardly proving he knows why he is doing on the football side. Director of football nonesense again? what's that his third attempt at it? It has never worked in England before.

Oh and the mystical never. To be heard of again new stadium seems to be nothing more than a posh sainsburys . Not a peep from the club in ages over that .

Still at least the books are balanced apparently, I guess selling our best players every year will do that

If the error broke no rules why did they sack the employee? Looks like the old scapegoat syndrome for Sherwood to take the heat of himself.

BTW. If you wait a bit you can always call for Roy Hodgson after the World Cup

Also reading today that AVB wanted to go as the set up at the club was such a mess that he couldn't implement his ideas. Didn't get the players he wanted, modric and bale sold, disagreements over ade. It sounds like we should bring out the benny hill theme tune at spurs. Again

The manager we are talking to, is it De Boer ?

posted on 17/12/13

smeg, I wouldn't read into that to much, the knives are out atm and a lot of stories like that will do the rounds

posted on 17/12/13

I am of the understanding that it is De Boer but not 100% sure by my source.

Sherwood has excellent attacking tactics as has been shown at under 21 level

Haha no thanks mate I would rather stick a chopstick in my eye than watch Hodgsons dire football.

Levy finds it important to be the big cheese at Spurs, by having a director of football and a coach/manager he ensures his position as more powerful than either (the old divide and conquer). Whether you think this is a good or bad thing depends on your opinion of Levy.

Interestingly though of heard many people call AVB a con merchant or similar as he has never played professional football and hence can't really know how to manage a club, yet are happy for Levy to make footballing decisions.

Do you lot really believe this carp? Ramsey well respected with connections? You ain't thinking of Alf Ramsey are you? Clubs a mess with 3 clowns in charge, only one man to blame and that's the chairman.

Sandro. Understand but still worrying . Even if everyone was fit, our squad is horribly unbalanced. Criminal after spending 100 mill
