'm quite happy we are out
Has spared us 2 thrashings from Man City
Spurs "supporters" on this board (we all know who), media idiots like Neil Ashton and pundits like Jamie Redknapp have a lot to answer for. They wanted AVB out (despite having the best win % of any Spurs manager), and look what it's got us - Tim Sherwood - who has shown in one game exactly why I won't be buying a Spurs ticket again whilst he's at the helm. Although he's a caretaker, I have a feeling he'll last the season.
The performance against West Ham was everything that's wrong with British football. 4-4-2, run themselves into the ground after 70 mins, and picking British players like Defoe & Townsend ahead of more skilful foreign counterparts.
I'm concerned that we have some amazing talent in Soldado, Lamela & Chadli, but they'll all leave in the Summer, as Tim nice but Dim (actually he's not nice by all accounts) stubbornly picks Uncle Harry's favourites, like Defoe, Townsend & Lennon, ahead of them in a 1990's 4-4-2 direct/long ball formation.
Thanks to our "supporters" who can't back a manager who's got a the best win percentage of any Spurs manager, and thanks to the Redknapp family and their cronies, who have mafia-esque influence over the British press, means we are royally screwed & everything we've built since the start of the 2012/13 season has been ruined.

As a gooner I have to give big props to levy. Every fool knows that if you sign so many players they will need time to bed down.
Sandy - regressed five years? I'd say we've regressed back as far as the Gerry Francis days!
It's absolutely pathetic, the first sign of trouble and we sack the manager. It's not like we were even in the bottom half of the table, and like you say, we had a 100% record in the cups.
I admit I was rashly thinking after the Liverpool game that maybe AVB's got to go, but now the dust's settled, I'm thinking the worst thing we could have possibly done is get rid of AVB as it means everything's gone to waste. All the science in the fitness & training methods, the tactics, the players' relationships with coaching staff - it's all been torn up, and for what - 2 bad defeats?
Now we have Sherwood - and it feels like we've downgraded on AVB 100 times.

Only 2 times have they been champions of the country in the league
