Man utd are playing much better, they got lucky against us having said that everton deserved to beat liverpool and if they did they would be top today.

Hafi - do you always talk crap or is that comment a one off?

posted on 22/12/13

That is a silly thing to write Hafi.

Anyway, yes, Everton are playing really well and deserve to be where they are.

It's strange to think that Moyes has somehow only got us in 7th place so far, yet Madrinez with the same resources as Moyes has is in the top 4 in December.

Before people start saying in being anti Moyes, it's the most obvious, and fair barometer to judge both managers with right now.

I hope people continue to underestimate Everton, because they are actually improving from the form at the start of the season. Beat Fulham 4-1 and didn't play that well, the signs are good. Everyone expecting the wheels to come off but I think they will get better

Man utd are playing the best football in the league at the moment. Man utd problem is like liverpool of last season smash the opposition cannot score then opposition do a smash and grab raid. I think we must have had 10 shots cleared off the line hit the post 10 times this season already.

I don't think the wheels will come off at all. They have good players and a good manager, so obviously they'll do well. However with others likely to continue to spend in January, can Everton keep up? We'll see.

Deluded is a word used too often on this forum but this time it is apt. Hafi - if you think that (you are wumming right?) then you are utterly deluded.

Man utd 2 goaks disallowed one for hernandez when onside the other stopping play and also had 2 shots cleared off the line. Against everton we hit the post and underside of the bar. Rooney missed 4 sitters to. Then everton broke away and got a goal and I knew by then man utd were knackered after penning everton in for so long. Against newcastle to we virtually completely dominated the game hernandez clean through hits keepers legs, another player smashes it at the keeper then rvp is 1mm offside to tap in then you guessed it newcastle 1st shot on goal and its 0-1. The other 2 shots they had was in the 47th minute from 40 yards in the 1st half end.

Cardiff game wellbeck clean through to seal it misses hitting it over, cardiff have 2 efforts on target to score then rooney clean through back heels it for no reason then smalling drags wide and I think cardiff make de gea touch the ball for the first time from a 30 yd pass shot to de gea right on time. Even against tottenham 2 strikes out the blue from them and apart from them they created near zilch. It just seems like we are having one of those nightmare seasons. Even west ham game they have there first shot of the game and it goes in.

Everton have been given a MASSIVE slice of fortune with Lukaku. People must remember that.

It was a terrible decision by Jose to loan him out again and it might cost Chelsea the title.

Next season without Lukaku, and fellaini too who got quite a few for everton it has to be noted, there is going to be a serious lack of goals at the club.

We missed 4 one on ones and hit the woodwork twice yesterday - so what?

The football Utd have played this season has mostly been awful. Really bad. Loads of long balls, low amount of passes, there is not a single bit of evidence to back up what you're saying. In fact it's weird that you think Utd are playing the best football when teams are outscoring and out performing you every week.

We had 42 wrongly disallowed goals last season

Put it this way we beat Bayer leverkusen 5-0 and on another day it was 8 or 9 and thats us playing 2nd gear. Man utd could easily be top scorers in the league. We are actually playing much better then last year.

But you're not and you're not. Mental.

deservedly in the place they're in

very dependent on loan players and Barkley is playing himself into a move to a CL club as is Lukaku if Chelsea don't take him back

it's a sad state of affairs really - get something like that together and the big money clubs will just undo it with chequebooks

catch 22

Why is it a massive slice of fortune? We paid Chelsea handsomely for his services for the season, he hasn't scored in a few games, it's a good job goals are coming from all over the pitch.

Sorry had to giggle at the comment that United are playing some of the best football in the league. Classic rose tinted glasses.

also known as 'Spurs syndrome'

dare to have good players and get 5th-ish and you'll get your side dismantled and sold off

I take your point. I guess he's saying it's fortunate as not many can believe he's been loaned out when you consider how Chelsea's other forwards are performing.

Everton deserve all the plaudits coming their way at the moment. They actually are playing some of the best football in the league.

Oh don't act like he's some genius wum for God's sake. Just some armchair from darn sarf who can't handle the thought of Utd not winning stuff.

I don't really see how Everton loaning players is any more a slice of fortune as the bigger teams buying players to be honest, it's part of the game that has always been there. Those players weren't getting games at their clubs, anyone could have loaned them if they wanted to, Everton deserve credit for making themselves the most attractive proposition to the players. It's still no guarantee they will play well without taking into account the whole system - Martinez appears to have plugged gaps to end up with a very formidable team that will give anyone in the league a good game.

But he is. He's the Number 1 chief WUM. Check his history if you don't believe me.

Still can't believe so many fall for it. In fairness there are many who don't anymore too.
