usual 4-3-3 with eustace for hendrick, ward for bamford i would think.

as far as i know bamford is an out-and-out centre forward like martin, so i wouldn't be surprised if we bought in another attacker on loan for a month to cover for russell's unfortunate injury. dirty wigan ba§tard§.

or we could just recall Jacobs...

I would say that Bamford knows where the net is and so does Martin so would put both in. The 3 forward midfielders can operate pretty fluidly with the 2 forwards giving more options. I don't think Ward is good enough at the moment. Bamford is 6'2" too.

I'm watching Jacobs for Wolves and I'd rather have him back and loan Ward out.

You watching too Marco?

Could be

--------------------Hugh-------------------
Norman--------Roy---------Spring Water---------Bruce
-----Ted----------Bill----------Richard---------Jimi-----
------------------Emergency-----Millicent----------

With the new lad on the bench as I couldn't think of an alternative name for him.

iwas i flicked it on for 5 mins and saw Jacobs mazy dribble and shot that should have resulted in a goal on the rebound... thats what reminded me recalling him could be an option he looked a different level.

Jacobs is a class apart in that game. Forest's latest main target who they won't get, Sako, looks a right donkey. He'd be perfect for a BD side.

Subs could be,

Smoked, Useless, Gordon,Trophy Bitter

Bamford and Legzdins defy all efforts for an alternative name although we had a kid at school known as fatty Bamford but it doesn't quite describe him.

it's probably his level that league. I'd rather the club moved forward now and onto better players than the likes of Jacobs, Ball, Bailey, Freeman, Hoganson, whitbread etc

Milf, did you see the Cywka goal against us. Absolutely stunning but I still would want him to go back to Barnsley or wherever. Jacobs is being loaned out for a reason.

I've always said that Jacob is quality and I'm glad we only loaned him out. He is bossing this game.

Saki is the kind of player Billy would splash £3m on but only if they get promoted.

Jacobs is being loaned out because we have one too many widemen (dawkins, russell, ward, bennett, jacobs). We're one man short for a month now.

jacobs is at wolves because he isn't good enough to play for Derby...simple....time to move on...
Bennett could do with a loan to get some competitive match time.

Surely Bamford has to be 'Digger' or 'Feckin huge excavator'?

Legzdins: Hokey-Cokey

Milf....it is when you bring in better players....we don't need jacobs back. we need another signing so Bennett can go on loan. we need better quality in depth.

Bamford could be Thornhill, as in the village in the upper reaches of the Peak District. Perhaps he will become a thorn in out oppositions' backs.

He could also be Edge, as per the gritstone overhang. Perhaps he will give us the edge in tight games on blustery January and February evenings.

He could also bring continued hope and optimism to the iPro, as the village of Bamford sits close to the Hope Valley.

As I can't get a ticket for Sunday I will be walking around Bamford/Thornhill way.

Stevie says Bamford can play wide or through the middle, problem solved - Bamford & Dawkins wide, Martin through the middle.

Don't suppose Bamford is allowed to play tomorrow?

Bamford's playing for MK Dons - against Wigan . He doesn't become a Derby player until Monday.

He is also cup-tied having already played in the FA Cup this season, AND under the rules of the competition is ineligible to play against his parent club anyway.

So that's a no - three times.
