We actually looked a lot more exciting today with theo up front
Stupid saying we won those games because Giroud didn't play, we could have played Squillaci up front and still won tonight. That being said he played a quick, incisive energetic game tonight which hasn't happened in a while, don't think that it was any coincidence with Walcott up front and also Gnabry on the right.

So we have just beaten spurs and all you do is create an article slating Giroud.
Get a life
Today we saw what happens when you have pace and mobility up top. The first goal highlights something I've been trying to get across for months, that those kind of runs, runs which are not Giroud's style, can drag a defence all over the place and create space for others.
To be honest, I still think OG is a better option than Theo mainly because Theo is better out wide, but it's good to know Theo can do a job up there.
I have waited on that special article OP. Well done. You didnt dissappoint me.
Wiz, that's not the point.
The argument is that we are quite capable of winning games without him in the team and without conceding. and that we have done so.
Thus, why must he start if fit?
Aaaand GT arrives with a couple of typical arrogant comments delivered straight from the reigns of his high horse.
GT, unfortunately Giroud disappoints more often than not when he starts.
Why? Because we are top of the league with him there.
Why experiment and then lose the game?
What is arrogant about it Chris? We have just won against Spurs in a very convincing way. Well done to the whole team.
We had beaten them 1-0 earlier this season with Giroud upfront.
Hardly can compare these games. It can be useful to have a target man upfront and it also can be wrong. Depends on the opponent an their approach as well.
The OP should fack off and get a grip. We won today and all he can think about is another angle to slate our statue

Fair enough that is your opinion but I say he is one reason why we are top of the league this season.
How do you know that we can lose the game if we experiment? So far we haven't and if that were to happen should we experiment, we've lost games with Giroud up front as well. Why shouldn't Bendtner or Theo get games up front whenever Giroud is of form?
The only thing we know for sure is that playing 4-4-2 with a kid in your midfield at the Emirates will get you turned over. Compact defensive formations would never give us the space to express ourselves. We always need a plan B.
Spot on Chris.
In fact Walcott's movement could allow us to play Giroud and Walcott in 4-4-2. Giroud has been doing a very good job deeper and is useful to find when the midfield is packed with longer passes.
Man Utd did very well with Sheringham/Andy Cole partnership. There is no reason we can't change formations against packed defences.
Mandingo, just a week back you were slating him, so I'm well aware of how fickle you are. That makes your opinion unworthy of consideration.
Giroud definitely shouldn't be guaranteed a starting place. Have said on many occasions that Bendtner should be given a chance. Walcott, not really sure if he can do it week in week out up front but he certainly didn't hurt his chances today.
Chris, dont tell me what to do or not to do please
I am kind of sick of this kind of articles on our board.
This article is rétarded.
Hull? Cardiff? With respect, they're not exactly stellar opposition - and even then, with Cardiff, we were 0-0 until the 88th minute.
What a ridiculous argument. If people don't like Giroud, whatever, but like with everything you've gotta back it up with good points, and people like you clearly don't

Oh...that is interesting reading that from you. I said that long time ago we should be more variable in our formation.
Bats, agree with you. No one should be guaranteed a starting place.
GT, I disagree with that reasoning. Is my opinion that is the Ozil factor that gave confidence to the team, as for players performance surely Ramsey stands out.
