So where now?
-------
5 and a bit more years of this by the looks of things.
It very sad to see - this ain't new to me as I was brought up on Dave Sexton, and Big Ron - but as someone said earlier on a different thread - at least we entertained during that era - we just couldn't defend very well.
I actually don't have confidence no matter who we playing at the moment
Patience and calm is needed. No knee-jerk reaction.
The Moyes era got off to a disastrous start with the window and Gill going too. We bounced back a bit but now we are in trouble, big trouble. But as SAF said we need to back the manager and the team.
Certain players are under performing too and letting the manager down. Injuries don't help. Of course they are excuses but they are also an integral part of the problem. RVP pretty much won us the league last season. We are 3-4 top, top quality players away from even competing now with the top teams.
This means we need to secure top players and need the Glazers to invest now big time.
I think the biggest mistake Moyes made was the backroom staff all being replaced.
This season now we need to come top 4 and try to reach Wembley at least, though losing to City in the final would hurt!
Moyes and Mid-table..... it was supposed to rhyme all along.

I agree with this - I understand bringing a couple of your tried and trusted but to completely dismantle the league winning backroom staff defies logic

How confident are you that we can achieve this? I have to say it needs a massive improvement and someone like Everton or Liverpool slipping drastically
