I would imagine he was there to look at Robertson.
Seen a picture of him in the paper, he was smiling and it looked like he was clapping. Hope it was after our amazing comeback and not when Hibs scored that soft penalty
Robertson and Souttar are the rumoured targets. I dont watch ANY Scottish football so would have no idea what they are like.
Souttar is a CB so could be a long term partner to Stones if both develop.
Robertson, well he would develop under two very good LB's
Can't see either of them going in January TBH unless its silly money.
Could the club fans be tempted if Everton offered to buy you all Roll and Pie and a can of Irn Bru?
What sort of money realistically would you think they could go for, they look to have good reviews in the press.
Both would command over £1million each.
Would they be worth the price asked?
Well worth it to be honest.
If they were in the English Championship you'd be paying a minimum of £5million each.
Both have tremendous potential.
They will have to offer realistic cash, cant be doing with these clubs offering money well below valuations, they all know what sort of money ST is looking for, so dont waste our time and either make a sensible offer or GTF
I have no idea what value the club is looking to put on them or what they could/would be worth. But to give them a Championship value of £5m is a bit daft. We managed to get Stones from Barnsley for around £1m with additional fees based on his progress. That may well be the case here.
Didn't realise Stones was only £1 million.
I was saying to my mate on Saturday coming out of the ground he looked a steal at the £3 million I thought we paid for him.

Then I have it wrong, I understood it was £1m plus add ons.
No,you may well have it right.
One thing is for certain,we will definitely be paying the add ons if you are.
This boy will develop into a classy ball playing centre half.Ideal for Roberto's style of football.
Either way a steal at £3 mil.
£1m or £3m or even £5m he looks good value.
I still believe this was a transfer pushed through by the upcoming appointment of Martinez and not Moyes
Arouna,
I hope you are not suggesting Roberto knew he was getting the Everton job last January?
That would mean that Mr Moyes knew he was getting the Utd job at the same time....
Hmmm, Fer deal falls through.
Stones joins, makes bench....never gets any time playing. He knew, all the bluff about planning for next season, yeah he was planning for a season at United.
He definitely knew before he was summoned, while on a shopping trip with his missus, to kneel at the feet of the king.
Whether he knew in January????
If so he is more of a duplicitous chap than anyone knew.
Well he knew in january we wouldn't get into europe yethe was gping to wait till the end of the season before signing a new deal.....
Hmmmm.
Arouna,
Do you believe he knew he had the Utd job in January?
Wow,I knew he was backhanded.........
I'm hearing a bid of £1.5m for Andy Robertson with a view of loaning him straight back til the end of the season.
Great deal as far as I'm concerned if its right.
