First half was even, England dominated the second half completely.

The result is in RKW. ur .5 points ithe lead. hell of a turn around but you don't deserve it. you bet against your own team. tut tut tut

By the way. As a neutral that was a bloody brilliant game of rugby! Just epic stuff. France miles ahead. England fight back they go ahead and then the kick in the stones at the end. Movie script stuff.

Think England will be disappointed with the start they made. 13 pts behind and after a terrific fight back to take the lead, they will be gutted with that last minute try.

Ding - I didn't bet against my team, I don't support England. I'm a neutral.

Ariso. The decision to replace Danny Care was a mistake. He was bossing the game for England. He was the spark that ignited the England team. After his substitution france came back into it.

Have we all gone for an Ireland win tomorrow?

A big victory for your boys Ding and you could lead the table ahead of Wales and France. Another home game next weekend as well.

Fecking hate France, never seen a team play so poorly in the second half and win a game.

They won't luck out like that every week, so undeserved

Yes RK. We all went for an ireland win you can see it in the pool results section. It's a difficult season for Ireland tho. 3 away games and 2 are England and France. Big ask for us to win it. BUT

We face the scots first up. Win that Wales come to dublin. On the basis that you win your home games, then we would travel to England looking for a triple crown. Win that and we walk over italy to meet france in on the final day.

I mean. If we beat Scotland and Wales at home in the next couple of weeks it's a hell of a lot of momentum going into the England game. And we all know that Ireland have a deadly record against England in twickers. there are possibilities for us but its a difficult road.

I don't think france are all that good they just stepped up for one game and in paris. on the road i think they might be less impressive. I still think that England could beat us in twikers and then wish us the very best to go and beat france on the final day because it would come down to points.

As a Saints fan Ding, I'd have to agree with that. Care is a proper scrum half. Dickson (at international level) is a journeyman at best.

Mind you, the French revival also co-incided with Lawes coming off. Thought he was immense tonight.

"England dominated that game, don't know what you were watching jukebox."

France were 16-3 ahead at one point. They chucked that lead

Show, seriously speaking. it's the first time i have questioned lancaster. I really like that guy, he's an honest straight forward bloke. a real rugby man and in my opinion he saved this england team from implosion after the horrid period between 03 and 2010. They needed an "honest ta god" rugby man to right the ship. But replacing Care and indeed as you said Lawes was a massive blunder. Care is a bit of a twit off the rugby pitch but a brilliant SH and today he was the spearhead of the comeback for them. Maybe he was tired? but he certainly didn't look it going off. And u and me both know, when you are on fire in a game being taken off hurts!!!

Lancaster made a mistake here and it cost England the game. Of that i am 100% convinced.

Still maintain fly-half is England`s big weakness , we need a strong runner there , someone like Mike Brown .

Morning all

Any England fans recovered from yesterday yet?

Ireland v Scotland later today. Looking forward to it especially if it's anywhere near as good as last night's encounter in Paris.

The mistake was naming a ridiculous bench Ding, so when May went off we had Goode for the full game doing his best to lose it for us. Added to that it made one of our best players play out of position where he didn't see much ball. Then we had no Ford and instead went with Barritt which I assume was because he didn't have faith in Burrell. Neither Goode or Barritt should be anywhere near Englands 44 man squad. So Nowell has to go off injured, Burrell (an IC starting in his debut at OC)is stuck on the wing and Barritt (an IC also is at OC).
As for the legitimate subs, I thought Hartley and Lawes going off had ther biggest negative impact, not Care.
Morgan and Binny were great, Lawes had an awesome game too and we should have won by a big margin. France got very lucky with the bounce of the ball for their two early tries but even after that we had the game won. The setup of the backs at the end was very poor and we paid the price for it.

LIke i said Aristo. Possibly the best pack in the world. But a lot of inexperience in the backs.

But game time = experience perhaps Lancaster has one eye on the WC and thinking in terms of having a full squad of tested internationals ready to pick from.

But with only 20 more international games ahead of the WC It's about time to bed in a team.

I'm gutted England lost.

I think our only hope next week was for them to rock up to Murrayfield all arrogant and cocky. That won't happen now.

Paul O'Connell is a last min withdrawal due to a Chest infection. This is a massive loss for us.

Dan Touhy from Ulster. Good solid player. But not PO'C

Ding

That's like getting a yellow card for the whole game

Suddenly, I'm feeling a wee bit more confident. Whether he's your best player or not, he is a talisman that no side could afford to be without.
