Liverpools should be the best. They have played none of the top sides(excluding United?) yet

They can't get their head around the fact that they have a really good home record due to not playing many good teams at home yet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We had good home form throught 2013. Only lost twice at Anfield between 1st Jan -31st Dec 2013. I suppose you'll find a way to fudge that stat too to suit your argument,

Everton also had very good home form, losing only once in the calendar year.

That the advantage of being at home I suppose.
Which is why we are quietly confident about the bigger teams and Everton coming to Anfield in the next few months.

Yep, thats what the tables say. No results taken out, its the true table. It may be because we've played all the top teams away so far.

And has been said many times on here before and often ignored, your home record may be so impressive at the moment because you've played all the bottom teams at home so far

No, I never opened the links....thats why i said Liverpool should be the best as they have not played any of the top sides(apart from United) at home.....But I guess you read what you want from posts

------------------------------

What about the whole of 2013? Did we not play the top teams at all in 2013. Are these games you've decided to take out of the equation again? We drew with Chelsea and Everton and we beat Spurs.

We know we have the big teams to come to Anield, but our home record against these teams is better than our away record. When was the last time Everton won at Anfield for example? Do you think home advantage has nothing to do with that?

posted on 21/1/14

In the only table that matters, ie the current league table, which includes the full complement of results and scores, Liverpool are ahead of Everton.

This is the only way to conclude this shambles of an article.

Do you get bonus points for games played in previous seasons?

I suggest you practice what you preach, why bring in your home form over the year 2013 into this discussion,it has as much relevance as me taking out the first 3 games of this season.

Shall we look at United's form for 2013 and cherry pick points from that to form an arguement to suggest they can still win the league.

posted on 21/1/14

It has much more relevance than you taking out 3 games. These games all happened in the same calendar year. You taking our 3 games is just plain stupid.

posted on 21/1/14

You are talking out of your hole as usual, surely more recent games give a better indication of form that game played in seasons past.

Shall we see what fixtures won between 1985-1989 have to the relevance of what will affect teams finishing positions in the league,or shall we look at how form relating to this season only affects finishing positions?

My article has far more relevance than you referring to results from a previous season

From all the hype you have given to form and the upcoming games I could only assume that Liverpool were top of this form table...

How silly of me to believe the RS hype ,ok>

You article is one of the most stupid things I have ever read on here. It has no relevance whatsoever, because you've pretended 3 results didn't happen. What sort of fool does that??

Take it as a form table of the last 19 games to give you an indication to the direction to which all the clubs are heading. Our first 3 games were our 'transition period' if you like

Oh shut up already. Just admit that this was a stuopid article and lets just leave it at that. You really are a plonker phil

You fudged it to make Everton look better and you know it. . Why would anyone do a 19 game form table whern 22 games have been played. Why wouldn't you just look at the current table.

Here are the facts, Spurs and Everton are small time mediocre clubs who believe finishing above Liverpool amounts to success. .

evidence - you've won 1 trophy between you in the last decade. You've played once each inthe CHampions League ever, and the height of you acheivements in the last few years has been finsihing above LIverpool. Well done to both your clubs Welll done indeed.
