Actually, Mata would start for Arsenal in my opinion. He is better than Walcott.
===
Mata would not start ahead of Walcott.
Mata is clearly the better player. But he wouldn't slot into our system the way Walcott does. Walcott offers something unique to this Arsenal team and has improved his game tenfold. The speed and timing of his runs are second to none and just when he looked to be finally realising his potential, he got injured for 6 months.
He's been here for 5 months. 5 months. He is not going to justify his price tag in 5 months. No-one does. Over the course of the next few years in terms of how he develops as a Premier League player will show whether the price tag is justified or not (it is IMO).
Either way, to get quality, you have to pay premium prices and that's what we've done. We made a calculated risk, something your mob don't understand it seems
I think what he means is that in 5 months, he should be up to the level everyone hyped him up to be really. But for me, he isn't really. At £42.5M, it's a massive chunk of money for someone who doesn't catch the eye week in week out. At least Mata has settled into the premier league and I do think this Mata deal, if he is in the right team and system, could be a far better value for money than what Ozil's is turning out to be.
They've paid very good prices for a very good player. Mentioned it above, they'll have made the better value for money very soon. Lets judge Mata from now until the end of the season with all of United's games left and lets talk about it then.
OK, on a serious note:
Cesc > All
Henrik, that's one of my favourites.
I'd never seen it before.
Ozil>Silva>>>Santi>Mata
Cesc > all though
Insecure article. Ozil is a great talent with fantastic vision. Mata doesn't look as easy on the eye as the likes of Ozil, Silva and Cazorla but he's every bit as effective creatively and a greater goal threat than those guys. And he's a big game player too who makes the difference when needed. It's a matter of opinion who is better but if one is claiming Mata "isn't on the same level" as Ozil, then he's got to think Ozil is Zidane or something.
Rival fans underrate Ozil's contribution this season. But that's to compensate for many Arsenal fans who have spent all season overrating him.

To cut to the chase:

I'm sorry but you do not understand how football works.
How many players have we seen that have cost big money and haven't set the world alight straight away?
Ozil hasn't had a pre-season with the team and was thrown into the deep end straight away. He needs to be up to scratch with the physicality and rigours of the English league. Some players adapt straight away and fair play to them. But not every player is the same and some take longer to prove their worth which is the point.
Whether he's been seen as a £42.5m signing or not is totally subjective and, at this point, totally irrelevant.

Because you act like you're the sole authority on player ratings and then come up with crap like this if people dare rate a player higher than another that you disagree with.
Saying Mata isn't a patch on Silva and Ozil is overrating those two because he's very much in their class.
I rate Ozil higher, but rate Mata higher than Silva and Cazorla, but there's not a great deal between them and each have their own strengths and weaknesses, and so it really comes down to preference as none stand head and shoulders above an other.
You'd think people are saying Mata is better than Messi the way you act when people prefer him to Ozil or Cazorla.
Mata isnt in Ozil's class behave yourself. If he was he wouldnt be on the facking bench for Chelsea.
Oscar p isses over Mata let alone Ozil.
Mata started half their matches. Robben was on the bench for most of the season for Bayern but was still one of the best wingers in the world.
Flawed logic.
Mata > Cazorla > Ozil > Silva
RGK, thoughts on Daz's chin?
Use to rate Ozil for Madrid but he has been absolutely pony for Arsenal, being surrounded by quality players like ronaldo etc must of just flattered him and made him look better than he was
I hope you fall under a train Oscar you clueless shi.tbag
he has been absolutely pony for Arsenal

No he hasn't You haven't seen us play at all this season have you?
He hasn't been as good as I expected, but that doesn't mean he's been rubbish. As I've said repeatedly, he hasn't had a chance to gel with the team in pre-season and was thrown into the thick of the action straight away. Judge him next season. If 10 assists and 5 goals this season is 'pony', then imagine how good he will be when he's 'good'.

Samir.........................Similar circumstances (plus an injury) don't seem to have affected Bale that much. Just an observation bud
TUX...he did say some players settle quicker than others. Not surprised you decided to ignore that though.
