but Dorrans doesn't offer what Lansbury or Vaughan offers
the Lansbury news is a massive blow
It is a huge blow!
But as someone who didn't doubt but needed convincing re the management team I believe they Weill do the best they can. No panic Captain Mannering.
He's a quality midfielder and that's what we've lost and what we need to replace. We need quality and we don't have enough quality left if we are serious about the top 2
Not sure if any of you heard an interview with Jason McAteer on Talksport a few weeks but it may hold the key to our injury crisis
The story was about Roy Keane Walking out on the Ireland squad during the 2002 World Cup. Apparently an argument broke out between Roy and “Mad Mick” at a team meeting and after a shouting match between the two of them Roy stormed out of the room and slammed the door.
understandably there was a awkward silence for what seemed an age but probably about an minute. ‘Mad Mick” then turns to the rest of the team and asks “does anyone else having anything they want to say?”
Dean Kiely (third choice Goal keeper) raises his hand
“What is it Dean?” Mick asks
“ Just wanted you to know boss, I can play Centre Mid if needed!”
Well with the lansbury news maybe we should given Dean Kiely a call ???
may as well get miller back and play him midfield
Dorrans is a top player but he's not going to replace Vaughan or Lansbury in that DM position. Currently we have Moussi and Jara playing there and no other cover. There must be other options out there
They could be our secret weapon in the playoffs in May when they return
What? What the friggin feck has happened to Lansbury? I haven't heard anything. Jesus. Never seem to be able to enjoy good times for long. Tbh, I reckon that's three of our top four players out with long injuries now. Maybe four ut of 5 if you count Wilson.
Lansbury with broken back shh
Two nil that will do nicely.
Looking forward to Sheff Utd

Agreed Rev we need help from the loan market otherwise forget top 2
Broken back? Jesus. Absolutely gutted. Honestly, what is with Forest. Most positive month in years followed by two huge injuries. Poor lad, though, in great form and this happens,
Distressing news! love Lansbury very good player. As for getting Dorrans I'm not so sure, he played a part against Liverpool last weekend so maybe the new manager likes him and there doesn't appear to be alot of options elsewhere in that position.

Don't talk wet rev. No-one would stoop that low
You been on the communal wine again?
He probably would Webbo. He is the most fickle of the fickle.
Without Vaughan and Lansbury our midfield will rip you apart next month.
Having said that we'd still have won if you had both.
Make sure £15m Albino wears a tracker this time as he always seems to go missing
As long as Hendo does the same.......oh wait a minute
