The trouble is exactly the same sort of comments were made when Bates took over and again when GFH took over. So just because someone is prepared to buy Leeds does not mean they are able to bring success on the pitch.

However this time there may be cause to be more optimistic. Cellino it would appear has a lot of cash has sold his current club and looks set to make a significant investment in Leeds beyond the purchase cost.

He has stated that he intends to buy back the stadium well if that occurs we can really start to believe that we have an owner with the financial clout to realize the ambition of returning to the premiership.

I'm not saying Cellino is perfect, i'm not saying we won't face a disaster with the guy further down the line - who knows eh? I thought last weekend was an embarrassment - but it's happened and the big issue of sacking BM has been corrected (sorry but disagree with you Aussie).

If as looks likely this guy takes the reins, then for the sake of the club, it's time to move on and get behind the guy.
