Well done Ronnie 4-1 winner with one century. Didn't play all that well but didn't have to. I think maybe he had another gear to go to if he'd needed it.
Yeah... after first game was rather dull stuff. I've also never sen a player cur across the ball as badly as that either (barry).
C'mon Ronnie! So glad he is playing in the tournament, can't wait for his World Title defence, he has his head sorted now, if he plays properly he will join Steve Davis on 6 world title. Incidentally coverage of the Welsh Open is on channel 971 on the sky box.

Not had chance to catch any of this tournament but I see Robbo is in a decider

I know I've just been busy. Don't really like the commentators at the Welsh Open anyway.

Well done Ronnie again, 4-1 win against a good solid opponent.
I missed the action today... Was out playing tennis for a while and EE broadband died for 6 hours too. technical errors on their side.
Walden is next for Ronnie, and that's no easy task. Although Walden may be wetting [is swearing not allowed here? My other word was not allowed] his pants after what happened to him last time.
Should be a Judd v Ronnie QF. Really nice to see Wenbo playing well. That boy has a ton of talent, but it's not shining due to bad shot selection and lack of confidence.
I've also heard about this Donaldson before too... supposed to be one to watch.
Well, Ronnie made one century in the opening frame. The Chinese fellow who I know but whos name I can't trust myself to spell played a good game, he looks ever inch a top 16 player in the making. The fact that Ronnie won 4-1 is just a testament to the strength of Ronnie and the pressure he naturally exerts, which elicits a few mistakes on even the most mentally strong opposition.
Yeah that guy has beaten Ronnie before too.

Another day, and another 4-1 win for Ronnie with a century
Next up it's a bigger test with John Higgins.
So Higgins V Ronnie, what a match between the 2 best players of the last 15 years? 4 time v 5 time world champion. Seen where the quarters are best of 9 , yet it still states best of 7 , these 2 deserve a best of 9 at least.

Higgins was a lucky boy again. Trump also doesn't have that extra bit of bottle needed. How he missed in the final frame by that far can only be nerves.
Higgin's luck will run out against the rocket, Watching Trump yesterday i thought that Ronnie wouldn't make those mistakes.
